“The Metro Atlanta Chamber applauds Governor Deal, Attorney General Chris Carr and the Georgia General Assembly for vigorously and successfully defending the state's water rights in this lawsuit. This decision affirms the leadership by the State of Georgia, local governments, business and agricultural communities in serving as good stewards of our water resources. The metro Atlanta region remains committed to investing in our conservation and efficiency efforts, and ensuring a sustainable, long-term water supply for all Georgians."
