Venture Atlanta, the premier technology conference and largest investor showcase in the Southeast, today issued a call for presenters for its annual conference to be held on October 20-21, 2015, at the Georgia Aquarium. To date, companies that have presented at Venture Atlanta have raised more than $1.5 billion—an amount that continues to grow. In addition to the opportunity to pitch on-stage, selected companies will receive exposure to the entire technology ecosystem, unparalleled mentoring and coaching, access to local and out-of-state venture fund groups through one on one meetings, as well as marketing and public relations counsel and support.

Now in its fourteenth year, Venture Atlanta will once again bring together entrepreneurs, investors, influencers and thought leaders for two days of networking, engagement and exposure to 30 of the region’s most promising start-up and high-growth technology businesses. Building off the success of last year’s newly added Southeast Spotlight, Venture Atlanta will be seeking applications from out-of-state companies in the Southeast to further showcase the strength of the region to national investors.

Last year’s event facilitated more than 250 meetings between investors and Venture Atlanta presenting companies. In addition to connecting entrepreneurs with needed capital, Venture Atlanta also equips companies with the tools necessary to continue to enrich their business, ultimately fueling growth.

“Venture Atlanta is a tremendous asset for the Atlanta technology community and is an excellent showcase of our region’s most innovative and high-growth companies,” said Brooks Robinson, co-founder and CEO of Springbot and a past Venture Atlanta presenter. “The conference was a great opportunity for Springbot to connect with potential investors and was instrumental in our ability to raise the capital needed to continue accelerating our business.”

Mike Becker, managing director at Vocap Investment Partners, added, “As an entrepreneur, I have been through several rounds of fundraising and know first-hand how challenging it can be. Venture Atlanta has been, and continues to be, vital to the cultivation of both early stage and growth stage companies in our community. Vocap has invested in past Venture Atlanta companies, and I look forward to seeing the talented crop of innovators that are selected this year.”

Early stage and high growth technology companies located in Georgia or the Southeast seeking to raise capital in the next 12 to 18 months are encouraged to act quickly and apply. There are no application fees and chosen presenters will attend the conference free of charge. To be considered, please submit a two-page summary and application by August 14, 2015.
