Coming Soon: Your Talent Your Future 3.0

With low unemployment at 3.5% and new jobs being created, it’s no surprise that Georgia job postings hit a record high in 2018, with nearly 800,000 job postings across the state. The number of job postings in Georgia in 2018 represents a 9% increase over 2017 and a 33% increase over 2014. While metro Atlanta is a top destination for new migrating talent, growing our workforce  will be instrumental for sustainable economic growth.

In December, the Metro Atlanta Chamber will release the 3rd edition of the statewide Your Talent Your Future Report, which compares the supply of entry-level talent with the needs of the state. We’ve seen improvement in the number of Computer & Information Sciences certificates and degrees conferred, while certifications and degrees in Health Care and Business are relatively flat, despite the significant opportunities for work in these areas.

Join us on December 17th at MAC for the release of the full report to learn which talent gaps are closing or widening; what policy, practice and funding solutions can help close the gap; and how you can be a part of the solution - register today.
