Report: Building a Skilled Workforce for a Stronger Southern Economy

The National Skills Coalition and the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and St. Louis have released a new report entitled "Building a Skilled Workforce for a Stronger Southern Economy" discussing the skills gap in middle-skilled jobs. 

“A skilled workforce is vital to the growth of metro Atlanta and the state as a whole, but finding employees with the right mix of skills is a challenge for businesses in leading markets across the country, and Georgia is certainly one of those states,” said Amy Lancaster, director of workforce development at MAC. “Increasing access to education and training that Georgia employers need most is a key economic development strategy to help Georgia maintain its ranking as the #1 state for business.”
