Governor Deal has raised drought response level for 110 counties
As of November 17, Governor Deal has increased the drought response level in 52 counties to Level 2, and to an additional 58 counties, Level 1.
Level 2 responses prohibit the following outdoor water uses:
· Washing hard surfaces such as streets and sidewalks. · Water for ornamental purposes, such as fountains. · The use of fire hydrants, except for firefighting and public safety. · Non-commercial washing of vehicles. · Non-commercial pressure washing. · Fundraising car washes.
