Child Care = Priority for Infrastructure

As part of a long-standing push in support of early education, the Foundation highlights work in local and metro chambers and lays out an excellent care for the priority in their multi-sector approach. Metro Atlanta Chamber's coalition work in early education has been highlighted as well in a previous post that focused on collaborative chamber approaches.

"To create an effective movement, the coalition started by establishing a shared understanding about how to best support the resiliency of Georgia’s workforce: supports, resources, and incentives are required across a variety of areas to ensure every family has access to quality, affordable childcare."

As part of business community and partner engagement, the US Chamber Foundation held a Twitter Chat on August 27th, co-hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center. The Metro Atlanta Chamber's public policy staff participated in the Chat along with other chamber's staff and non--profit organizations from across the U.S. To read a full transit of the Chat, including links to more information on early education infrastructure, click here
