The Georgia Department of Education has been surveying thousands of teachers, business professionals and parents in drafting modifications to the state’s Social Studies and Science Standards which are used in crafting and improving student curriculum. The results of that survey, culminating in a draft of changes to previous Standards, is now available for review and comment at www.georgiastandards.org.
Industry professionals, parents, students and teachers are encouraged to review the proposed changes and comment before March 14th when the changes will be compiled and put before the state Board of Education on March 31st.
