Casey Foundation and Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, held the second event in the Making Youth Employment Work series. Over 60 participants represented the youth-serving community. The agenda included three focus areas – youth, workforce and organizations serving 15 to 24-year-olds for the workplace. Cinda Herndon-King, director, Atlanta CareerRise, shared what employers are looking for when hiring young people for high-demand careers.
