This year’s MAC Day at the Capitol event kicked off on Wednesday, March 1 with breakfast and networking between some of the region’s key legislators and representatives from the Atlanta business community. Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle addressed the crowd with his thoughts on the continued importance of education and effective infrastructure for our state. Georgia House Speaker David Ralston was another VIP of the event, taking time to meet with chamber investors.

Georgia’s ranking as the #1 state for doing business was a major talking point of the event, and MAC’s public policy team works every day to advocate for the right legislation for our business environment. The Metro Atlanta Chamber, along with its award-winning policy team and other supporters, will continue to position Atlanta as a major business hub in the Southeast, as well as nationally and abroad.
