Georgia's Senate Study Committee on Venture Capital Investments is holding its first meeting today at the Coverdell Legislative Office Building.
Chairman Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta) opened the meeting and Lt. Governor Casey Cagle followed with brief remarks. Members of the committee will hear from a number of individuals both from the venture capital community and the entrepreneur community, gleaning their perspectives on Georgia's thriving economic eco-system.
