The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education hosted a Critical Issues Forum to discuss “Closing Georgia’s Talent Gap.”  Chris Clark, president, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, provided a comprehensive overview of Georgia’s talent gap and workforce needs. Panelists shared the value of CTAE programs in preparing kids for a successful career pathway and contributing to building a skilled workforce. The program was moderated by Metro Atlanta Chamber Education Policy Director Tim Cairl. Panelists included Ayesha Ahuja, past president, Georgia HOSA; Mike Kenig, vice chairman of Holder Construction; Cassandra Miller-Washington, CEO of Hutchings College & Career Academy and executive director of CTAE with Bibb Co.
