Final House Rural Development Council Meeting

The House Rural Development Council met today in Milledgeville at the Old State Capitol after months of meetings all across the state to discuss and adopt recommendations with the aim of empowering private business to grow jobs in rural Georgia and lift up the quality of life.


The House Rural Development Council met today in Milledgeville at the Old State Capitol after months of meetings all across the state to discuss and adopt recommendations with the aim of empowering private business to grow jobs in rural Georgia and lift up the quality of life. Co-Chairs Terry England and Jay Powell discussed the recommendations which touched on workforce, infrastructure, education, healthcare and other economic development activities. The Metro Atlanta Chamber looks forward to further conversation about the final report and how the recommendations can improve the lives of all Georgians as we approach the 2018 legislative session.
