ATLANTA – February 22, 2023 – Inc. Magazine, known for its annual rankings of the fastest-growing
privately held companies in the United States (“Inc. 5000”), has selected the city of Atlanta to host the
first independent Inc. Founders House experience.

The Inc. Founders House is a one-of-a-kind, founders-only experience for the extraordinary entrepreneurs
starting, growing and operating small businesses. Created for founders by founders, Inc. taps into this
unique audience to find out what they need, who they want to hear from and how to make it an ideal
experience for all.

The Inc. Founders House: Atlanta, in partnership with the Metro Atlanta Chamber, will be hosted at The
Gathering Spot Atlanta on Wednesday, May 10 with thought leadership panels featuring insightful
conversations with top entrepreneurs, executives and subject matter experts, as well as live activations
that deliver brand engagement and interaction among a coveted audience.

“Only in metro Atlanta will you find a community this diverse where startups, corporate innovators and
creatives inspire one another to reach their goals. Atlanta is the nexus of innovation and Inc. choosing our
city for the first independent Inc. Founders House is indicative of our position as a top-tier global region,”
said Alex Gonzalez, chief innovation and marketing officer, Metro Atlanta Chamber.
As identified by Inc. Magazine, Atlanta is home to a rapidly growing community of founders and has
emerged as a hotbed for up-and-coming small business and innovation. On the heels of Small Business
Week, the Inc. Founders House: Atlanta will include several curated celebrations and networking
gatherings to recognize the community and culture of Atlanta’s innovation, entrepreneurship in the
business community.

Metro Atlanta is home to more than 200 companies on the Inc. 5000 list, with 36 companies making the
list five times or more.
“The diversity of Atlanta’s founders and industries makes this the perfect opportunity to unite business
leaders to ignite growth. “Metro Atlanta has more Inc. 5000 companies per per-capita than any other
region in the country. This makes Atlanta a natural place for the first independent Inc. Founders House,”
said Scott Omelianuk, Editor-in-Chief of Inc. Magazine.
Ryan Wilson, co-founder and CEO of The Gathering Spot added, “The opportunity to welcome
entrepreneurs from around the world to Atlanta and The Gathering Spot Atlanta for the first independent
Inc. Founders House is defining. Atlanta’s diversity reflects the spirit of the New Economy and is prime for
