For many of the top 10 occupations by job postings in the last quarter, the posting numbers look a lot more like 2019 than 2020. Specifically, software developers continue to be in high demand, almost at the same level as in 2019. Demand for registered nurses this quarter is within 500 postings of Q3 of 2019.

Some occupations have held steady in comparison to the third quarter of 2020, such as Laborer/Warehouse Worker and Truck Drivers.

In comparison to the first two quarters of the year, Q3 had fewer job postings in the top 10 occupations across the board. The sharpest decreases in postings came from in Truck Drivers (-40.5%), Customer Service Representatives (-37.6%), and Laborer/Warehouse Workers (-30.6%).
