In 2017, we celebrated Atlanta, and you celebrated with us. With the help of our business community and Georgia legislation that recognized and worked to support our vision of a more vibrant and prosperous region, the Metro Atlanta Chamber was proud to serve.
In Atlanta, we connect, we invent, we inspire and we thrive, and we do all of those things with passion and style. With the launch of Backed By ATL and IoT.ATL, MAC connected the dots between startups, scaling companies and technology. Atlanta also continued to reign as a global FinTech hub. Through ChooseATL, Learn4Life and Your Talent Your Future 2.0, we highlighted our young talent and searched for fresh ways to nurture and grow our workforce. New streaming network THEA, our designation as the #1 feature film location in the world, and the continued attraction of the biggest sporting events in the country cemented Atlanta as a cultural powerhouse. These are only a few of the accomplishments from the past year.
As we move into the new year, MAC will continue to grow, advocate and promote metro Atlanta as a top-tier global region. We look forward to working with you – our regional partners, community leaders and the business community at large – to remind the world why #AtlantaIsNow.
