The Atlanta Sports Awards, held annually at The Fabulous Fox Theatre, was created in 2006 by the Atlanta Sports Council to galvanize the high school, collegiate and professional sports community This gala-style event begins with a private reception and silent auction followed by dinner and the awards show.
An all-star lineup of former and current athletes, sports celebrities, coaches and media are included in the festivities, along with a blue-chip roster of Atlanta-based Fortune 500 corporations, many of which sponsor the event.
The Atlanta Sports Awards is the one time during the year the Atlanta community recognizes the athletic achievements of its top athletes, coaches, and teams from all levels of competition and salutes these world-class athletes and nationally renowned teams.
