The mayor and the Chamber business delegation spent Friday in Seoul, Korea. The main event in Seoul was a business seminar and reception hosted by the Korean International Trade Association (KITA) and the Korean-U.S. Economic Council. The event attracted about 75 executives from the Seoul business community, and once again gave the Chamber business delegation an opportunity to promote metro Atlanta as a global business center.
During the business seminar, Mayor Franklin, Chairman Lee of KITA and John Fogarasi, minister counselor of commercial affairs from the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, spoke of the increasing trade ties between metro Atlanta, the state of Georgia and South Korea.
