Chamber to Sponsor Premiere Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research Conference
The Metro Atlanta Chamber will be the Atlanta Host Sponsor of the upcoming premiere hydrogen and fuel cell research conference. The conference, titled GenerationFC 2006, is being held at the Emory Conference Center on Dec. 4 - 6.
This is the
premiere
conference on hydrogen and fuel cell research, demonstration and commercialization in the South. With the trend toward cleaner energies, this emerging technology is a hot topic, and analysts predict that the global market for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies will expand to $15 billion in value by 2015.
The South, and particularly metro Atlanta, possess a broad range of technical and educational assets in this area, and is competing with other regions of the country, particularly the West and Northeast, in the race to attract the new high-tech jobs and industrial tax base that this market growth will create.
Metro Atlanta Chamber members will receive a 50 percent discount on the conference registration.
Additional information and conference registration are available online at www.sfcc.tv/genfc.html or by calling (678) 244-4159.
