GO: Global Opportunities
GO is a global business and talent development program tied directly to the Chamber’s mission to bring the best together to help Atlanta thrive. GO aims to connect business executives, who have extensive international experience, with GO participants who are just starting out in global business.
GO is a perfect tool for up-and-coming executives and managers to prepare them to take on an international assignment or to lead multicultural teams. GO will offer resources for executives to address a global business issue affecting their organizations (i.e., market entry strategy, supply-chain issues, multi-cultural team dynamics), while also providing time with an executive coach to develop their personal global development plan.
GO participants will participate in a series of one-day interactive workshops to cover key international business subjects, along with a two-week field experience in China in September. While in China, GO participants will meet with international business executives and industry experts. The field experience provides an ideal first-hand experience and opportunity to address the participant’s global business issue, as well as an opportunity to build an important network of business relationships in one of the world’s most complex business markets.
